In 2011, Los Angeles native Shlohmo surpassed many of his peers in the “bass” music scene and managed to reach an audience outside of the Low End Theory scene. Releasing critically acclaimed LP Bad Vibes, numerous remixes for the likes of Burial, Drake and Salva, and one incredible FACT mix, Shlohmo perfected his eery, screwed sound. It would have been completely acceptable for the man to take a break in early 2012, but he’s already back on his shit and released the first single from his upcoming Vacation EP, titled “wen uuu,” via Gorilla vs Bear this morning.
