Londoners Mak & Pasteman, who just released an EP on Car Crash Set, recently participated in a long standing tradition of Brits bootlegging old (is 2006 old?) American R&B hits. As per usual, the result is  exponentially more interesting than the original. Mak & Pasteman leave the track pretty barebones, easing into a relaxed garage house rhythm punctuated by reverberating pitched-down vocals.
