At this point, you should know that Ryan Hemsworth is one of our favorites and a true Astral Plane-ian. Hemsworth drenches “Ages” into synth molasses here, giving it a n incandescent vibe. Unlike most, Hemsworth’s use of video game samples and 8-bit sounds avoids sounding nostalgic and/or corny in a way that I can’t put my finger on.
